HospitalityGEM would like to offer congratulations to La Tasca which has this week reported a 68.9% increase in EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortizatio) since February this year. This is a fantastic result reflecting the positive changes the chain has made in recent months which are proving to be a hit with customers.

We're very proud to have been working with the chain since 2011, creating an online feedback system to help change the way the customer experience is measured, and monitored.

The system has helped to improve recommendation rates for the chain as David Pepper, People Director at La Tasca explains, "In the first six months of using this feedback system we have lifted our "recommend to a friend" rate from an average of 60% per week to above 90%. This demonstrates that focusing on giving guests a positive experience can be effective and reward a business. It also gives our team a target to work towards.".

With the Christmas season fast approaching, La Tasca are pleased with their progress, and bookings are coming in thick and fast.

Chief Executive Simon Wilkinson added, "We are really pleased with the progress we have made as a team but we won't rest on our laurels as we are hungry for more success. Bookings for Christmas are currently ahead of this time last year and our latest investments are allowing us to compete on an even keel with the shiny new competitors which consistently spring up everywhere."
