Tasty has reported a 30% increase in sales for the half year to end -June. Turnover for the period is £8.9m, with an operating profit of £752,000, this has increased by 43%.
Tasty which operates Wildwood and DimT continues to eye up expansion with reports that they are looking to fund this. The Tasty portfolio includes 14 Wildwood sites and 6 DimT sites as well as two others. On their recent results Tasty commented the following; "Despite the ongoing general economic conditions, the group continues to grow and invest for the future." It added: "The group continues to focus on means of taking the business forward in terms of increasing sales by updating the menus and improving the food and labour margins, all of which are continually reviewed."
These are positive results for Tasty and lets hope this continues over the next half-year.
